What really surprised me was a design. It's not very good. Though I guess, that it's not typically for this company. On Samsung sites this drive, for some reason, looks different (see the small photo).

The CD contains the software, and it's quite good for a recorder delivered OEM.

The usual front panel: one blinking indicator informing of recording and reading, square open button, volume control, headphones jack, emergency ejection hole. The drive can be installed both in vertical and horizontal position.

While working, the drive whistles very quietly and vibrate a little. The noise level is average in comparison with others. After operating with a CD the drive warms up.

On Samsung site we have found in the drive specifications that the record on 700 Mb CD is supported.

There is a digital output on the rear panel, and it's not a surprise.
