HALO: Combat Evolved

The easiest modes without AA and anisotropy: X700XT is defeated.

With enabled anisotropy: the same picture.

Thus, on the whole:

  • RADEON X700XT versus RADEON 9800 PRO (ATHLON64 3400+) - victory
  • RADEON X700XT versus RADEON 9800 XT (ATHLON64 3400+) - victory
  • RADEON X700XT versus GeForce 6600GT - defeat
  • RADEON X700XT versus GeForce 6800LE (ATHLON64 3400+) - victory (!!!)
  • RADEON X700XT with the LOW OPTIMIZATION versus RADEON X700XT WITHOUT OPTIMIZATIONS - optimizations produced some effect only with AF
  • RADEON X700XT with the HIGH OPTIMIZATION versus RADEON X700XT WITHOUT OPTIMIZATIONS - the same picture

Half-Life2 (beta): ixbt07 demo

With enabled anisotropy: X700XT is heavily defeated!

The final heaviest mode with AA and anisotropy: X700XT got an opportunity to snatch a victory only because 6600GT heavily slumped again with ÀÀ. And still there are some bugs - AA is not working again at 1600x1200.

Thus, on the whole:

  • RADEON X700XT versus RADEON 9800 PRO (ATHLON64 3400+) - victory
  • RADEON X700XT versus RADEON 9800 XT (ATHLON64 3400+) - victory
  • RADEON X700XT versus GeForce 6600GT - victory
  • RADEON X700XT versus GeForce 6800LE (ATHLON64 3400+) - defeat
  • RADEON X700XT with the LOW OPTIMIZATION versus RADEON X700XT WITHOUT OPTIMIZATIONS - quite a good performance gain with enabled À.I. together with AF
  • RADEON X700XT with the HIGH OPTIMIZATION versus RADEON X700XT WITHOUT OPTIMIZATIONS - the same picture
