WORKING PRINCIPLE

HG Series Cylinder Scratch Board Dryer is a kind of rotating continuous drying equipment with internal heating conducting function. The material film will stick to the bottom of the rotating cylinder. The heat is transferred to the internal wall of the cylinder through piping system and it will be conducted to the external wall and material film. The moisture of the wet material film will be easily evaporated and the dried material will be scraped from the cylinder surface and transfer to the packing area by the screw conveyor.

APPLICATION

This dryer is suitable for drying liquid raw material or sticky material in chemical industry, dyestuff industry, pharmaceutical industry, foodstuff industry, and metallurgy industry, and etc.

FEATURES

Notes:

Installation:

This dryer has to be installed in accordance with the general layout. The ground should be smooth, and the steam inlet should be installed with pressure gauge and safety valve. Make sure all flanges are securely connected.

Commissioning:

- Observe and make sure the main cylinder is rotating correctly.

- Observe and make sure the rotation of the cylinder and various transmission components is flexible.

- Observe and make sure the steam inlet and outlet are connected and the pressure gauge is within the operating range.

- The operation of the main cylinder shall be stable after motor started. The material shall be fed into the dryer after temperature rises and then adjust the motor speed in order to control the uniformity of the film and the final moisture content of the material.

- The finished product shall be discharged when starting the auger motor. The auger motor speed shall be adjusted according to the conveying capacity of the finished product


Maintenance:

- Schedule regularly checks for the rotation flexibility of rotating parts and check if there is any jamming.

- The sprockets and other components shall be regularly greased.

- Schedule periodic calibration for pressure gauges and other measuring devices.

- The V-belt transmission is a wear part and it should be replaced regularly.

- The maintenance of motor and reducer should refer to its own manual.
