Microsoft Sidewinder X6: Gaming Set Complete ·  Discuss

According to the source, in addition to Sidewinder X5, Microsoft is going to release the Sidewinder X6 gaming keyboard.

It features a numpad that can be attached to both right and left sides of the main keyboard, and an additional row of keys for binding game macros.

The purpose of two round knobs is now very clear though (could be audio volume controls). Anyway, we should expect official information from Microsoft very soon, because Sidewinder X6 is to go on sale already in September for 80 USD.

This long-anticipated novelty from AMD that has everything to be the world's fastest graphics card, is not a secret anymore officially. While it will debut in August, AMD has lifted NDA for publishing preliminary but official information about the card and its test results.

Thus, here are the specifications:

Microsoft Prepares New and Updates Old Mice ·  Discuss

According to news posted and then removed from the source, Microsoft is preparing the completely new Arc Mouse and is updating the existing Sidewinder X5.

The Arc Mouse is distinguished by futuristic appearance, comfort of usage typical for a large mouse, and compact dimensions. All these features are combined thanks to an original folding design. The novelty is expected to be announced in red and black variants this summer for about 60 USD (wireless receiver included).

As for Sidewinder, it became lighter and simpler comparing to the previous modification. In particular, the newer model has no changeable weights and LCD display. At the same time, it offers resolution switch and wired PC connection, in addition to 9 programmable buttons. Simpler design affected the price positively, making it 60 USD.

iPhone 3G Features Flash Memory From Toshiba ·  Discuss

TechOnline posted a list of chips used in the new iPhone 3G that went on sale on July 11.

According to the source, use of certain communication components became a surprise. But in general iPhone 3G is very similar to the previous handset.

Most chips (4) are made by Infineon. The flash memory is made by Toshiba, though a few weeks ago there were rumors of Apple ordering huge quantities of it from Samsung exactly for the new device.
