Pre-treatment Plant Introduction
(1) Clean oilseeds
First step of pretreatment, also is the fist step of making edible oil. By using Wind-driven separator, dust removing system, magnetic separation, gravity separator to remove impurity;
(2) Shelling, Debarking, Delint, Soften
Second step of pretreatment, by using shucking machine to remove shell of oil seeds, since
shell will reduce the rate of oil yield and life of the production line. Some of the oilseeds need
to be softened like soybean or other hard oil plants;
(3) Break oil crops
Third step of pretreatment, by using flaking machine to roll oilseeds into base. About 4 valve.
Such as Soybean 2-4 valve, peanut 4-6valve. Thickness of the base is about 0.1-0.5mm. This will make the surface of oilseeds bigger, easy to be cooked. extract edible from oil seeds easier, and can also rise the oil yield;
(4) Cooking oil seeds
Forth step of pretreatment, by using cooker make green billet to be cooked billet. Make the
oil fused on the surface of the oil seeds. It will make edible oil easier to be prepressed
extracted from the oilseeds.
(5) Prepress/press oil seeds
Fifth step of pretreatment, by using oil crops press machine press some of the edible oil from
oil seeds. And make oil seeds become cake. After this step you will get crude edible oil and
cake. After prepressing, there are about 18% resid in the cakes, the cakes will be sent to the
solvent extraction plant, by the process of solvent extraction plant, we can get the oil in the
cakes. And the resid in the cake will less than 0.8%.
